Playtika studio and the World Series of Poker (WSOP) recently announced a new campaign titled #RoadToTheTable. The campaign will see social media influencers compete against each other on the virtual felt for a chance to take on the final battle and earn a WSOP crown. The free-to-play WSOP site will be utilized in the competition, and now we know the names of the influencers involved in the special challenge.
A total of 28 Million Followers Between Them
Of the fourteen people competing in the #RoadToTheTable, the influencers have a combined follower total of 28 million people. The names are certainly recognizable and it will be interesting to see who will capture the campaign crown.
This campaign aims to highlight the fun poker action at the free-to-play WSOP app. The hope is that more players will see how the WSOP offers great poker gaming and will take part. The group of competitors is diverse and is sure to make the series more challenging.
The Influencers Are:
- Adam LZ: A video producer of exciting car content.
- Billy Mann: A content creator that focuses on challenges and is also a comedian and adventurer lover.
- Collete Davis: Video creator of automotive-themed content.
- Erik Conover: Popular YouTuber who focuses on luxury homes and live in New York City.
- Jay Mendoza: Latinx social media personality.
- Jiedel: Content producer of lifestyle and sports content.
- Kenny Chao: Guru for sports and fitness needs.
- Lauren Fitzmaurice & Stephania Ergemlidze: Content creator with a focus on basketball.
- Malena Tudi: Twitch Streamer
- Matthew Meagher: NFL enthusiast with a focus on Madden.
- Nick Antonyan: Comedian
- Nick Palom: Twitch streamer behind ‘Nmplol’
- Zack TTG: Sports content creator.
Getting Started with #RoadToTheTable
All of the influencers involved in this challenge are now getting started. Each person was sent a mystery box that includes a video message welcoming them to the event. Poker chips and decks of cards are also included to help the influencers work on their game before logging online.
Guy Ceder, the General Manager for the official WSOP app, commented on the new campaign, stating that the WSOP is thrilled to be announcing the identities of the influencers involved in the campaign.
“We hope that everyone involved will enjoy playing poker as much as we do and that the influencers’ journey towards becoming legendary poker players will inspire their audiences to explore the game too, both virtually and with real-life decks and chips!”
More details of the challenge will be shared by the WSOP once the influencers begin playing online in the competition.
